PMO & Program Management

Delivery, minus the status theatre.

PMO & Program Management
Overview

What is PMO & Program Management?

Most PMOs end up producing reports about the work instead of moving it. Green, green, green, then a slip nobody saw coming, because the report was the deliverable.

We run programmes the other way: fewer artefacts, more unblocking, and status that reflects reality even when reality is bad. The main job of a PMO is to surface problems early enough to do something about them. Everything else is admin.

If you want a PMO to create the appearance of control, we're the wrong people.

Services provided

Programmes that ship, not programmes that report
Status you can trust, including the bad news
Dependencies and blockers surfaced while they're still cheap
Less reporting overhead on the people doing the work
A PMO your team doesn't route around

What the data says

60–70% of transformation programs fail to deliver promised business outcomes. The most common cause: inadequate program governance and portfolio management, not technology failure. (Source: McKinsey Transformation Practice)

Organizations with a mature PMO are 2.5x more likely to deliver projects on time and 1.5x more likely to deliver within budget compared to those without structured program management. (Source: PMI Pulse of the Profession 2025)

Only 36% of organizations track whether completed initiatives actually delivered the business value they promised. Without benefits realization tracking, nobody knows if the investment was worth it. (Source: Gartner PPM Survey)

AI and digital transformation programs are 3x more complex than traditional IT projects, with more stakeholders, more dependencies, and more change management requirements, making structured PMO governance essential. (Source: Deloitte Digital Transformation Study)

PMO as a Service is the fastest-growing engagement model in program management, growing 40% annually as organizations seek flexible, expert-led governance without permanent headcount. (Source: APMG PMO Trends Report)

Why Ganexa

Where Ganexa stands out

We report red early. A programme that goes green-green-green-disaster had a reporting problem, not a delivery one.

Fewer artefacts. Every report costs delivery time; most are read by nobody.

We'd rather kill a workstream than manage it politely to a bad end.

Who this is for

Built for where you are

Company launching AI transformation

“We’re about to launch 6 AI initiatives across 4 departments simultaneously. We’ve never managed anything this complex and we don’t have a PMO. Our last cross-departmental initiative was chaos.”

We design and launch a transformation PMO specifically for your AI program: governance structure, workstream coordination, dependency management, and executive reporting. We manage the first 6 months as a service while training your internal team to take over.

All 6 AI initiatives governed through a single PMO. Cross-workstream dependencies identified and managed proactively. Executive team has real-time visibility into program health. Zero initiative collisions or resource conflicts.

Organization with project overload

“We have 35 active projects and no way to prioritize them. Every project sponsor thinks theirs is the most important. Resources are spread across everything, so nothing gets done well.”

We implement strategic portfolio management: scoring and ranking every initiative by strategic alignment, financial impact, resource requirement, and risk. We facilitate a leadership decision on the top 10–15 priorities and design a resource allocation model that ensures the chosen initiatives get what they need to succeed.

Portfolio reduced from 35 to 15 active initiatives. Resource allocation aligned to strategic priorities. 15 deprioritized projects formally parked with clear criteria for re-activation. Execution velocity doubled on priority initiatives.

Growing company needing ongoing PMO support

“We’re too small for a full-time PMO team but too big to manage projects on spreadsheets. We need professional program management on a part-time, affordable basis.”

We provide PMO as a Managed Service: a senior program manager on retainer (typically 2–3 days per week) who runs your project governance, manages reporting, coordinates dependencies, and ensures your initiatives stay on track. You get enterprise-grade program management without a full-time PMO headcount.

Professional program governance in place within 2 weeks. Executive dashboard providing real-time portfolio visibility. Monthly cost a fraction of a full-time PMO team. Scale up or down as initiative load changes.

Are your programs delivering value or just burning budget?

In a 30-minute PMO consultation, we’ll discuss your current initiative landscape, assess your program management maturity, and outline whether a project-based PMO setup or a managed service model makes more sense for your situation. If your initiatives are struggling with governance, visibility, or cross-functional coordination, this conversation is the first step.
